Jack is the founder of Social Advantage, he serves as managing director and as Creative Director for the agency. Jack is musician, a marathon runner and a proud husband and father.

Project Manager
Darren is the agency's project manager. Passionate about marketing and working with clients. He makes sure all accounts are run like clockwork and that briefs are fulfilled with accuracy.

Copywriter

Simon Martin is a chartered surveyor and building pathologist specialising in waterproofing, from London in the UK.

His company Crownstone are a specialist construction and waterproofing firm that deal with "Wherever You Don't Want Water" in a building or home.

Simon cares deeply for helping people with water related issues in the built environment. Water/damp issues within a building or home can create a lot of stress for someone to deal with, and Simon enjoys seeing the relief on his customers faces when they hear that he's solved the issue.

Unfortunately, the waterproofing industry is full of "cowboys" or people that are not "waterproofing specialists", prescribing the wrong fixes for water related issues. Simon's mantra is "Diagnose the problem correctly before applying the fix" (otherwise it's not "the fix").

Although Crownstone was/is a successful firm, they had never marketed before and Simon was struggling to stand out from the competition and make his mark with the leading figureheads in the industry as a waterproofing expert.

Simon approached us with one simple brief:

"I want to be known as The Waterproofing Guru of London."

  1. He wanted to be top of mind for referral partners in the industry for water-related issues.
  2. He wanted to be thought of as the authority on waterproofing in construction.
  3. He wanted the top manufacturers of waterproofing products to think of him as a trusted partner.

We optimised his profile so that it positioned him correctly (as The Waterproofing Guru of London) and had the necessary lead generation tools implemented. We met with him regularly, learning his story and the types of jobs he deals with to create an initial round of educational LinkedIn content.

We looked into his business processes and discovered a simple yet effective method of creating video content that helped further position him as the expert in his field. We created a series of educational videos, using insights from the content output to inform which talking points to use.

Simon is now recognised at various industry events as The Waterproofing Guru of London and is known by the top manufacturers of waterproofing products in his industry as an expert.
